This 2024-2025 series explores everyday Latinx sights, alongside historically and ecologically significant sites, at the southern end of the Central Valley. The viewer first becomes familiar with the slow violence and contradiction that define the landscape.
Though as the sequence continues, attention is also given to the materiality of Latinx immigrant culture & living, the persistence of more-than-human life, and the presence/absence of water that has shaped the land.
