por vida // for life is a photo & sound project. It seeks to explore the Latinx sense of place & life carved out amidst rural environmental injustices in the Central Valley of California.
The project was started in 2024 by Jacqueline Canchola-Martinez (BA Geography, BS Conservation & Resource Studies UC Berkeley), born and raised in Tulare County.
